| Environmental impact assessment is the possible environmental impact analysis, forecasting and assessment after the implementation of the planning and construction project, put forward to measures of preventing or mitigating environmental impacts. In order to implement the strategy of sustainable development, promote development of the economic, social and environmental. and prevent adverse environmental impacts after implementation of planning and construction project, we introduce environmental impact assessment policy. Currently, the environmental impact assessment carry out in our country include planning environmental impact assessment and construction project environmental impact assessment. Construction projects environmental impact assessment include environmental impact assessment report, environmental impact report table, environmental impact registration form.
The company is devoted to mechanical and electrical manufacturing, building materials, thermal power and social regional environmental impact assessment. Our company is one of the first companies to carry out construction project EIA work and international financial organizations’ project evaluation. There are 44 staff currently, 2 doctor degree, 22 master's degree, and 24 middle-senior technical titles, and 6 were employed as members of the expert database by the State Department of Environmental Protection. Over the years, our company completed the EIA of metallurgical, construction, building materials, thermal power, wind power, machinery, electronics, municipal project and various kinds of planning EIA more than 860. These projects distribute across the country. Recently, we have completed the EIA of steel industry famous Capital Iron & Steel Co. (Caofeidian industry Dict.) project, Baoshan Iron & Steel Zhanjiang Iron &Steel industry Base, Ningbo Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., large coastal iron and steel project. Capital Iron & Steel and Baoshan Iron & Steel projects are the only single largest 10 million-ton scale steel project EIA approved by the State Environmental Protection Department in China so far. Baoshan Iron & Steel EIA report was included as a case of the State of the EIA engineer professional qualification training textbook. In 2000 and 2006，it was twice awarded "Outstanding A League Unit of National Environmental Impact Assessment of the Construction Projects " by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People's Republic of China.
