Cleaner production is a new creative thinking, which apply the overall prevention strategy for sustainable environment to the production process, products and services, in order to increase eco-efficiency and reduce human and environmental risks.

 

Cleaner production audit means that investigate and diagnose the production and services processes in accordance with certain procedures, then identify reasons that lead to high-energy consumption, high material consumption and heavy pollution, at the end, put forward programs that lower energy consumption, material consumption and reduce toxic and hazardous materials use, as a result, select techno-economic and environmental feasibility cleaner production program.

 

Carrying out cleaner production audit is a major method of clean production.  

Our company’s cleaner production audit covers metallurgy, thermal power and service. Now, there are 13 audit consultants, 6 professorate senior engineers, 4 senior engineers, 2 doctors, 23 masters in our company. We have strong research ability of cleaner production and have completed a number of national and local cleaner production issues, such as “Cleaner production standard of iron and steel industry”, “Code for design of environmental protection of iron and steel industry”, “Code for design of comprehensive utilization of iron and steel industry resources” and “Cleaner production standard of iron and steel industry (ironmaking, sintering, steelmaking and Ferroalloy process)”. We have participated in development of national cleaner production standard, been familiar with relevant laws, regulations, policies of iron and steel industry, known the implementation of cleaner production in iron and steel industry, mastered industrial processes, technologies, and trends. In addition, we have carried out popularization of cleaner production and supplied technical services with internal training many times, therefore, we have accumulated rich experience and performance, as well as, own a ability of providing high-quality audits of cleaner production consulting services. Up to 2007, we have carried out cleaner production audits for more than 10 iron and steel enterprises, and 2 mining enterprises. Trained personnel achieve more than 1300 and internal auditors are more than 290.
